When the Armstrongs built their new home in Wadsworth, they turned to C&S Lawn Service and Landscape for a complete landscape design and installation that would complement the home from the start.

Color was part of the plan before installation began. C&S created a color-rendered design so the Armstrongs could visualize how different plantings and variations in color would work together throughout the property.

Privacy was equally important—and particularly personal to how they enjoy their home. The Armstrongs have a favorite space along the front corner of the house that looks out across the yard, with a neighboring home partially within that view. C&S designed plantings specifically to screen that sightline, creating greater privacy around a place they already enjoyed. Cobble along the sides and part of the back of the home also reduces the need to weedeat along the foundation.

The landscape has continued to evolve since the original installation. C&S has added more privacy plantings, low-voltage lighting for the evenings, and deciduous trees that bring additional depth and seasonal interest to the property. The lawn has also grown greener and healthier with time.

What started alongside a new home is becoming a landscape with its own sense of maturity—one that gives the Armstrongs more privacy, seasonal interest, and enjoyment of their property as it continues to grow.
